This system consists of two layers of Technoelast EPP waterproofing material, laid on the primed surface of the concrete preparation. Extruded polystyrene foam TECHNONICOL CARBON is used as a protective layer in the system, which is laid directly on the waterproofing layer and also performs the function of thermal insulation. The execution of a protective layer of extruded polystyrene foam is a more technologically advanced option in comparison with the classic cement-sand screed.
In loaded floors, in the floors of high-rise buildings, the strength calculation of the underlying layer must be performed, which can take into account the stronger grade of extruded polystyrene foam - TECHNONICOL CARBON SOLID 500.
The system is used in the construction of shopping centers, industrial facilities with flooring on the ground, located in an area with a high level of groundwater.
